NOTICE OF CHANGE OF PLACE OF REGULAR MONTHLY MEETINGS OF DAWSON COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

The Board of Commissioners of Dawson County announces that the place of its regular monthly meetings has been changed from the meeting room at the Rock Creek Sports Complex located 445 Martin Road, Dawsonville, Georgia 30534 to the G.L. Pete Gilleland Chambers at City Hall located 415 Highway 53 East, Dawsonville, Georgia effective August 7, 2008.

RECYCLING CENTER

The Dawson County Recycling Center now accepts glass in addition to paper, aluminum and metal cans, corrugated cardboard and plastics #1 and #2.    Recyling Center is open Monday - Saturday 7am - 5pm. 946 Burt Creek Road, Dawsonville, GA  30534.  706-344-3645.  Unloading assistance available.

NOTICE

The recreation buildings at both Veteran's Memorial Park and Rock Creek Park will close at 2pm on Sunday, August 17, 2008 for staff training.  Outdoor facilities will remain open as usual.
